- 1. ATTACKING AND JUSTIFICATION Early childhood is an essential period in people's lives and in the exercise of their fundamental rights. It is at that stage where the foundations for development and learning throughout life are established. UNICEF's work program for 2021-2025 is proposed to contribute to the integral development of children from 0 to 6 years. To do this, it will allocate efforts to strengthen the capacities of national, provincial, municipal authorities, civil society and the private sector to design, implement and monitor comprehensive early childhood policies, adequately financed and with integrated information, monitoring and evaluation systems, to generate an offer of sufficient, articulated, equitable and quality early childhood, to improve the nutrition of girls and boys from 0 to 6 in family, care, educational and mass consumption environments and to promote capacities , tools and resources of the families to raise from an approach to rights, gender and equity.
