- Tenders are invited for Technical Supervision of Design and Construction for Tracks and Signaling Redevelopment Works of Fc Gral. San MartíN, from Retiro Station (Km 0,000) to Pilar Station (Km 56,440). Improvement Project of Ferrocarril General San Martin: Railway Branch Retiro-Pilar The National Ministry of Transport has received a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for the “IMPROVEMENT PROJECT OF FERROCARRIL GENERAL SAN MARTÍN: RAILWAY BRANCH RETIRO- PILAR”, executed by the General Bureau of Sectorial and Special Programs and Projects of the Ministry of Transport (DGPPSE) of the National Ministry of Transport, and intends to use part of the funds of this loan to hire Consulting Services: “Technical Supervision of Design and Construction for Tracks and Signaling Redevelopment Worksof FC Gral. San Martín, from Retiro Station (KM 0,000) to Pilar Station (KM 56,440);” PMFGSM16-SBCC-CF-SBCC 01-2022. The purpose of the Consulting Services “Technical Supervision of Design and Construction for Tracks and Signaling Redevelopment Works of FC Gral. San Martín, from Retiro Station (KM 0,000) to Pilar station (KM 56,440).”The cited works will be hired through an International One-Stage Two-Envelope Bid, under FIDIC Libro Amarillo General Contract Terms and Conditions, SecondEdition, 2017. The Consulting service shall be responsible for supervising all execution tasks relative to Design and Works to be approved by the Consultant, including, among others: -Review and approval of technical documents on the various stages of the Project, Inspection and Control of track infrastructure redevelopment (rails, ties, ballast, attachments, switches and crossings, Works of Art inspection). -Inspection and control of the new Signaling system, Train Control, and adjustment of the existing protection system. -Inspection and control of Equipment Provision for track maintenance. -Inspection and control of Environmental, Social and Hygiene and Safety aspects. The scope of this Supervision Contract shall include hiring an Independent Safety Consultant (ISA, Spanish acronym) to act according to Regulation CENELEC - EN 50126, 50128 and 50129 governing such role.
